ROSES BY CANDLE-LIGHT

These warm rich purples and reds set the mood of quiet night. This is a perfect arrangement for an intimate gathering.

Silk flowers:

6 red flowers stem, 8 purple flowers stems, 24 lavender stems, 2 red berry stems, and 2 button fern stems.
Other supplies:
(20 cm×13 cm) purple ceramic vase, sheet of Styrofoam, hot glue gun, craft sticks, floral adhesive, 4 plastic candleholders, two (18 cm) purple candles, and two (18 cm) red candles.


Cutting instructions:

Cut each stem of red flowers to be 5 cm in length, each of the purple flowers to be 8 cm in length, each of the lavender and button fern stem to be 3 cm in length, and berries at varying lengths but no longer than 3 cm.

1) cut a piece of Styrofoam:

So that it fit your vase; and you can use two pieces of Styrofoam and glue them on each other to ensure that it fits the shape of your vase and will be higher than the vase height. Then put hot glue around the block of Styrofoam and over the bottom of the container, then press the foam in the container and wait till dry.

Apply some floral adhesive to the bottom of candleholders, and then insert them into the foam. Make sure that they are perfectly straight. Floral adhesive stabilizes the candleholders so that you can change candles easily in the future.

3) Insert flowers:

Insert red flowers: one flower on the left side, one on the right side. Also insert two on the back and two on the front; in an asymmetric way. Don’t forget to put a little bit of floral adhesive in the tip of each stem of flower to fix it well.

Then, insert purple flowers: two on each side, but one sitting high and one sitting low.

Then, insert the four candles in a reciprocal way, one red then one purple and so on.

4) Insert lavender stems first in the holes between flowers so that they lay in all different angles and be higher than flowers.

Insert the ferns so that they lay in different angles, the longer sitting down and the shorter sitting high. then insert the berries……..now your bouquet is ready to use!
